I have written for publication on a number of subjects. I led the research and composition for a community submission to the government consultation on Personal Independence Payments (PIP) assessments, as well as contributing to several other community-based projects on social security reforms. I also wrote about the direct impacts of the reforms on individuals for One in Four. I have also written a chapter on the development and impact of the “Spartacus Report”, Responsible Reform, for an upcoming book on social policy.
I have also contributed an article on patient experience to a special issue of the European Journal of Hospital Pharmacy regarding polypharmacy and desprescibing (January 2017). My writings on Quaker matters are available on my Quaker blog, Openings. I also have a blog section on this website to share my thoughts on a range of topic.
So, what can I do for you? Maybe you're putting together a newsletter or magazine and would like a piece on grassroots engagement with government policy. Perhaps you're preparing a book on less-well-known religious beliefs, and a chapter on nontheist Quaker views would be helpful. Or maybe you would like a candid piece about the experience of someone with multiple chronic illnesses. I'm prepared to help you out in all cases, these and more.
